About us
Pigeon Pigeon is an independent theatre collective making queer experimental work from our home in Narrm (Melbourne).
We make and produce work which could be described by a few of these adjectives: queer, site-specific, verbatim, stunning, sentimental, accessible, weird, and soft.
It’s a theatre which is intimate, soaked in sentimentality, and like our avian namesakes, found in the city’s cracks.
In 2024 we presented our debut work: ‘FUTURE’ at Melbourne Fringe which received ★★★★☆ from Artshub.
Pigeon Pigeon is lead by theatre-makers Ryan Hamilton and Georgie Wolfe, but we love to be collaboratively promiscuous. Georgie and Ryan were recipients of the Emerging Company Incubator Award at Melbourne Fringe (2023).

Ryan Hamilton
Ryan (he/they) is an award-winning Narrm-based theatre-maker and producer interested in queer, site-specific, & documentary theatre which makes the world a little better, queerer, and fatter.
Ryan’s performance career peaked at the age of 12 as a volunteer dancer in the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Opening Ceremony.

Georgie Wolfe
Georgie (she/they) is an award-winning Narrm-based theatremaker and designer interested in reimagining the role that technical design plays in the creation of new work.
In another life she is an environmental scientist studying the climate change induced rise of jellyfish.
